Asking for support

I normally hate begging for support, but I’m at a time of need.

As many of you already know I’ve been unemployed since October 2019 due to layoffs after the company I was working at was bought out. I decided to take this opportunity to finally get into the field I’ve always wanted to work in and start school for software engineering. Unfortunately that was slightly delayed due to multiple factors a majority of which were beyond my control. In the break between class I didn’t feel safe working the job I used to work due to the pandemic as well as other factors. I was on unemployment for most of 2020, but once the new year hit I was no longer eligible for monetary support through my state’s unemployment office. Current I am wholly relying on what’s on my savings account and it is quickly running out.

I’m making this post today to ask for support from the fandom, fans, and communities I offer. I need your help to continue attending the classes until July.

The reason I am not using GoFundMe is because I already have many ways you can help support me:

  • I can take direct donations through my merchant services I use for this site
  • I can also take direct payment through the company’s GPay (Google Pay) account
    • Email [email protected] (this is not a personal email. Any fan mail or any other mail will not be opened or responded to)
  • You can buy things on the website (hint, most of the items are “pay what you want” with a few set at a mandatory minimum)
  • You can back me on patreon
    • I plan to fully revamp the rewards when I’m done with school and I promise I will deliver those new rewards to anyone who has paid for any tiers between now and the time I restructure my rewards. Even if you have to cancel or downgrade to a lower tier.

This is going to help everyone. The fans. the fandom. The communities. I have many ideas I want to try out including a potential new art platform with a proper functional mobile app and rebuilding the entire website from the ground up.

Anything helps. Even $1 or sharing this wherever you’re allowed to.
