What is Lucid Creations Media?
Lucid Creations Media is a company created by Lucid Kobold. It’s original purpose was to provide the creative writing works and fanfiction of Lucid and was originally known as Lucid’s Writing Website. It has since evolved into more as Lucid expanded his creations. He now creates hypnosis content such as hypnosis files (MP3s) and hypnosis scripts, streams on Twitch, and even build a community for his friends and fans.
Why a New Website?
It’s no secret that WordPress is clunky and becomes slow as you add more and more plugins onto it. Furthermore plugins lock essential features behind paywalls. The new website will hope to alleviate the headache of all of this by building a fast and reliable platform for Lucid Creations Media. It is also meant to help eliminate the need to use other services by remaking them on the new platform.

- Eliminate all dependencies from WordPress and WooCommerce by building the new website to fit the needs of Lucid Creations Media and the content it offers.

- Patreon: Allow backing through the eShop with recurring monthly payments.
- Trello: Create a custom progress tacker right into the website.
- Google Sites: Replicate the look and feel of the current community website and improve upon it.
- Fast, Secure, and Reliable.

- A11y and W3 compliant (accessibility)
- Responsive design (mobile and desktop accessibly)

Prerequisites/Requirements
- Understanding of git, GitHub, and git workflow.
- Have a reliable ide.
- Have reliable internet.
- Doesn’t have to be fast, just reliable.
- Understanding of HTML, DOM, accessibility requirements/ standards, and fundamentals of JavaScript.
- Some experience with React.js is preferred.
- Some experience with SQL databases preferred.
- Some experience with responsive design preferred.
- Some experience with progressive web apps preferred.
Compensation
Unfortunately Lucid and Lucid Creations Media doesn’t have the funds to compensate any contributors. Arrangements could be made to allow your contributions to be added to your portfolio or resume. Please keep in mind that as of this moment this is a Closed Source project and Lucid would have to approve this ahead of time. If you enjoy any of Lucid’s creations then some arrangements could be made to offer free membership to the new site (after the beta has ended) and free content to be given instead of money and other momentary compensations.
