The Potty Chart is an app that mimics a potty/star chart commonly used while potty training toddler or child. Our app can be used to track behavior, habits, diaper training, potty training (good luck), daily chores/tasks, or anything else you might want to track in a fun and visual way with colorful themes, stickers, and even receive encouraging messaged from your big/dom, followers, and friends The final app will have settings to disable any mentions and references of ABDL to allow a more general audience to use, such as for a master and pet relationship. This is a beta build of the app. Some functionality may not work as intended, is not fully functional, and may be missing entirely.

Name is still a placeholder. We are still looking for a name for the app. Please contact us if you have any ideas for the name of this app.

Introduction

The Potty Chart is an app that mimics a potty/star chart commonly used while potty training toddler or child.

Our app can be used to track behavior, habits, diaper training, potty training (good luck), daily chores/tasks, or anything else you might want to track in a fun and visual way with colorful themes, stickers, and even receive encouraging messaged from your big/dom, followers, and friends.

The final app will have settings to disable any mentions and references of ABDL to allow a more general audience to use, such as for a master and pet relationship.

This is a beta build of the app. Some functionality may not work as intended, is not fully functional, and may be missing entirely.

Base Functionality & Features

This is the current list of planned base functionality and features of the app:

  • Tracking more than 1 little/sub within the same account.
  • Little/sub picks the theme of their chart.
    • This will change the background and stickers based upon the selection.
  • Make a list of rules that should be followed in a given day.
    • The rules can be set for specific days of the week or every day of the week.
      • Later versions could allow more advanced assignments such as specific dates of the month or a specific day of the week in a month (First Monday of every month).
  • Each day the big/dom will be reminded to check off the list of rules that were followed for the given day and a sticker will automatically be assigned based on the configuration of the chart.
    • The stickers can be programmed to be displayed between user specified percentages calculated from the amount of rules checked off.
    • Charts can have 3 and 5 sticker to indicate how good the sub has been in the given day.
      • Good, Neutral, Bad
      • Excellent, Good, Neutral, Bad, Very Bad
  • Options for sharing a chart/calendar with other users of the app.
    • Charts can be limited to registered user, approved followers, friends, or bigs/doms.
  • Ability to follow other user’s charts.
    • Or send a follow request to a user.
  • Ability to add friends.
    • Alternatively you can send a sub/dom request to a user. The role will allow you to create a chart/rules for the designated user or have the other user create ones for you depending on the role that was chosen (dom/big or little/sub).
      • Users can swap roles with a user at any time or revoke roles and go back to being just friends.
        • The other user will have to approve a role swap request.
        • The role removal doesn’t require both user’s to approve. Initiating a role removal request automatically deleted the connection between the two accounts and reverts back to friends or a follower.
          • The option will the offered to the user initiating the role removal request if they want to stay friends, block the user, or remove all connections and keep them as a follower. Unless approved followers privacy setting is turned on then the user can unapproved their follower status at this point as well.
        • The sub will be given the option to save the charts and stickers already created between the users or delete them.
          • Subs will be able to delete orphinated charts at any time. (orphanated: a chart that was created by a dom that is no longer connected to your account as a big/dom.)
  • Ability to send predetermined encouraging messages to your little/sub, a friend, or a user you follow based on their progress for the day. The messages will depend on the type of chart (potty training, diaper training, behavior chart, habit chart, etc).

Premium Features

There is currently only a single tier option that is being considered at the moment. In the future multiple tiers may be considered or added.

  • Multiple charts per sub.
    • This can be granted to a big/dom if the sub has a premium membership and will only apply to that sub.
  • Reward/allowance tracker.
    • Configure daily, weekly, or monthly rewards or allowances based on one of the following:
      • Percentage of positive stickers (excellent or good) in a week or month.
      • Percentage of rules followed in a day.
      • Percentage of a specific set of rules followed in a month or week.
    • Multiple rewards/allowances will be enabled by default.
    • Earned rewards will be signified with a special indicator at the end of the given period (day, end of week, end of month).
    • The app will not link to banking systems or accounts. It will simply notify both users that the allowance amount was achieved.
  • Extended history.
    • Free users get 30 days of sticker history.
    • Premium members get unlimited.
  • Track changes/trends from history
    • How did they compare to last week/month/year.
      • Compare a specific day, week, or month.
      • Compare a specific month or date.
  • An average chart if a sub/little has more than 1 chart assigned to them.
    • Used to track the rewards/allowances.
    • This will auto-generated and cannot be manually edited.
    • The stickers will track the average percentages of all charts.
      • Later versions can allow for averaging only specific charts.
        • Only one average chart will be allowed per sub. (As to not add too much complexity to the app.)
  • More customization. Ability to mix and match stickers and backgrounds, thus making your own theme.
  • Override automatic stickers.
    • Ability to override an auto generated sticker into whatever the big/dom wants.
      • This will set the average for that day to the highest percentage allowable to automatically receive that sticker. (example: good requires 80% – 50% to automatically achieve it. The sub got a 49% for the day. Manual override will set that day to 80%.)
    • Ability to remove the manually added stickers.

Privacy Features

  • Request system similar to a friend request except you are asking someone to be your sub/dom.
  • Ability to respond to that request.
  • Ability to swap roles after the request is accepted (both users have to approve this change).
  • Follower requests (on by default).
  • Hide from search (on by default).
  • Any user that is not on your sub/dom list and is not a friend or an approved follower will not be able to see your charts, subs, doms, profile picture, and anything that is not your username. by default.
  • Ability to limit and restrict access to every aspect of your profile and sometimes individual items within it such as:
    • Followes
    • Friends
    • littles/subs
    • doms/bigs
    • charts
    • name/bio/profile picture
  • No 3rd party trackers.
  • No unnecessary 3rd party cookies.
  • Ability to block other users.
  • Ability to delete account.
  • Ability to request your account data.

Security Features

The goal is to have all of these implemented in the initial release of the app, however that might be delayed.

  • View a list of active sessions.
  • 2FA.
  • Social Login (to enable password-less login).
  • Login alerts through email or push notifications.
  • Revoking specific sessions or all session that is not the current session.

Push Notifications

  • Messages.
  • Requests:
    • Follower
    • Friend
    • big/dom or little/sub
  • Sticker is received.
  • Reward earned (premium only)
  • Daily reminder, configurable for each sub/little, to evaluate your little/sub’s day (Default will be 7PM or 1900).
  • Optional updates from your followers (When they get their stickers. By default every follow notification is disabled).

Technical Information

This app is not going to be available through any app stores as a native app. This is due to the costs accosted with certifying a native app, specifically on iOS, and the stringent requirements to keep a native app published on certain platform, again on iOS. Keep in mind I will be the only one working on and developing this app. I cannot keep pushing updates for every security patch on certain platforms.

This app is going to be a Progressive Web App. What that means is it is going to run through your browser and can be “installed” like a normal app. This will add the icon and name to your home screen and will take you right into the website without browser navigation (the address bar). Push notifications will be enabled this way. Any and all notification settings will be configurable within the user settings menu. The app will not pester you constantly to install it or to enable push notifications.

Other Information

As long as there is enough support through Ko-fi, the new eShop (the new LCM website), or premium memberships then there will be no ads for any users ever.

If there is a regular userbase new features and themes will be added through it’s lifetime.

Artwork

I have already teamed up with @ArtShork on Twitter and he agreed to collaborate and deliver a handful of different stickers for the app.

We need artists and designers who are familiar with SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) to help with the stickers and logo of the app. Commission/compensation could be considered if we reach enough funding. Reach out to discuss rates so funding goals can be properly set.

Funding

The Patreon is still being revamped to focus more on app/software development. The tiers and goals will stay focused on this until the potty chart app and the new website and eShop is completed. All funds starting from 2021 is being allocated to the development and deployment of the app.

Funds will pay for:

  • Deployment (isn’t cheap).
  • Artwork for the app (also isn’t cheap).
  • Sometimes my own bills (Lucid) when needed (I am the only one working on the app. Technically an employee.).
  • Testing and QA (If enough funding is available I will look into paying a few QA testers for the app and even consult some UI/UX engineers for the final product.)

    • See app/development updates up to 1 week before others.

    • Reach out to verify your founding status. If you funded us through Ko-Fi after November 2021 and before the official launch date then a special founder badge will be granted to your account.
  • First access to new features of the app.
    • See new major releases up to 2 weeks early before anyone else.
  • Free premium memberships based on the highest tier you supported during the development process.
    • One time reward granted after the launch of the official launch of the app.
    • Granted only to the email address associated with your Ko-Fi account.
    • Even 1 month of patronage grants this reward.
  • Discounts on memberships after the launch.
    • Granted only to the email address associated with your Ko-Fi account.
    • Discount is based on the tier level
    • Free memberships will be considered for higher tiers.
      • Free membership gifting will be considered.

Costs

This announcement and previous posts about this app is not a grantee that this app will have a final completed build. The features listed here are not guaranteed to make it into the first official build of the app. Some features may be delayed or completely scrapped based QA testing, user feedback, or time constraints and complexity of the features. Please keep in mind that I, Lucid, am the only person working on this and I may need to scrap certain features if it makes development easier. I cannot promise that any or all scrapped features will eventually make its way into the app through future updates, but I would love to have all these features on the first release of the app.

At the time of making this announcement there are no set time frames or deadlines for the public release of the app or for any beta build of the app.
